Hurricane Norbert batters Baja California; heads for El Paso

HUrricane Norbert has been a very dangerous storm during much of its trek towards the Mexican coast, reaching Category 3 status for a while before dropping to Cat 2 just before landfall. The storm now has 105 mph sustained winds with 125 mph gusts and is coming ashore north of Cabo San Lucas. The sotrm is expected to maintain its intensity as it crosses over Baja California and makes a second landfall onto the Mexico mainland.
