Gulf Coast Hurricane Tracker

A single source reference on tropical weather predictions. With a traditional focus on the upper Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast we've maintained links to track all Atlantic Basin, Caribbean and eastern Pacific storm systems. We are now expanding our view to tropical storms throughout the world intending to be a comprehensive global storm tracking resource.

Tropical Storm 11 has formed in the western Pacific

A new tropical storm has developed in the western Pacific. So far this is a storm with no name - just a number - 11

Tropical Storm 11 is located right onthe edge of some very hot water. As such, this storm is expected to instensify at least to a Category 1 cyclone by the end of the week. The storm track shows it generally moving to the northwest in the Pacific over several small islands in the area. I do not know how populated these islands are.

Eleven appears to be headed well to the north of the N. Marianas Islands and Guam.
